Shaved legs

Well a few days ago I shaved my legs ( I do not know why I did this I do not grow hair on my legs or under my arms or on my arms but I thought what the heck it has been like 9 months) Well I used a dull razor and cut my leg BAD it is all red and Hot to the touch so if anyone has any suggestions so it does not get to infected please feel free to tell me. It really hurts. HELP

Happy Fathers Day

First of all I wanted to write in my blog because it has been a while. So I want to wish all the Fathers out there a Happy Fathers Day. Things here at home have been very quite with no Kody or Kayli man I miss them. Well Today Grant and I went to church and then I made him a streak dinner I must say I did a great job, but Kody's steaks are better. I have a few things to look forward to first the kids got Grant IL Divo tickets for Fathers day he says he needs to find someone to take so I hope it is me LOL. Second we have the baby shower on the 30Th and also get to see Felicia, Geoff, and Allston so I am excited about that. The next day we are going to Roosevelt Lake for like four day for the 4Th of July and everyone knows how much I love the lake. Kody, Kayli and maybe Brandon and Cammie will be going Cammie has to first talk with her Doctor on Wed.
I have been thinking of more boy names but remember Cammie will not like any name I pick so I just want to see what others think.

Well yesterday I had to get a shot in my back. It was done to try and help with the feet pain I have been having. I have to be down for 24 hours, so I am in bed until about 4:00pm today. My back is real sore and my feet still hurt. The doctor says it takes about 3 days for the meds to start kicking in, so I hope my feet start to feel better for are trip to scipio we are having. We are leaving on Wed. and coming home on Sunday. Also on some better news. Joshua and Anna are buying a house in West Jordan. there offer went though, now all they have to do is have an inspection if all goes well they will be signing papers at the first of June. I am so excited for them.. Also Cammie went to her Ob appointments on Wed. everything is looking great. I know she will put new pictures of her ultrasound as soon as she can. She is looking so cute with her belly. Hope everyone is well.

Great mothers Day

Well we can all say that we each have the best family but I really think I do. My mothers Day started yesterday when Grant took me out shopping and bought my 2 new dresses a necklace and a bracelet. I don't remember the last time he took me shopping to buy me clothes, it was really sweet so thanks Grantly. Then today Trevor called it was great just hearing his voice he still is such a funny boy. So first thing this morning my heart was filled with joy and the rest just got better. Grant and I went to church and then after church Me, Grant, Kody, Kayli went to Cammie's and Brandons for dinner. Thanks Sis it tasted great. And Cammie is looking so cute. I must say I have not seen a cuter pregnant women before. All my kids. ( Joshua, Anna, Brianna, Cammie, Brandon, Trevor, Kody and Kayli gave me a gift card so I can get a massage. Thanks guys. Also Kayli made me a really sweet card and Kody made me a card and said some pretty great stuff about me (he must of been thinking of someone else. LOL ) no really I will always cherish the card. I love my family so much. Even though the bad and good we have always stuck together, they all have supported me in some very difficult times in my life I could not be any luckier. I love each and everyone of you. Kayli I think of you as one of my own and hope one day it will be official. Joshua your my first born and that is something very special you have turned out to be a wonderful man. Anna you have brought such joy into are family I love you very much. You are a wounderful mother, wife and daughter-in-law. I hope we never scare you away. LOL And Cammie my beautiful daughter, my friend O how I love you. Thanks for all you do for are family. Trevor my silly boy a mama's boy how I miss you but only 9 months to go. Always stay the way you are. You sure know how to light up a room. And my Baby Kody we have become so close and now I know I need to let you spread your wings. I am so happy we decided to have one more baby. My life would never have been completed without you. I know you are going to go far in this world. Never second guess yourself. I love you Boof.

Swine Flu

Well leave it to me. I found out that I have attracted the swine flu virus. I have been down with the flu for a week and went to the Doctors and then was sent to the hospital for IV fluids and then they did a sample to send in. Well yesterday my Doctor called and told me I needed to come to his office, well I did and that is when he told me I had the swine flu virus. He then told me I had to go over to the hospital and get some IV Fluids and some IV antibiotics. Well I have been on a antibiotic for about a week called Tamiful. Things are looking good I just have to keep fluids down and once I have been on the antibiotics for 7 days I will no longer be able to pass it on. So far Grant and Kody are well. I will be able to come out of my room on Monday night. YA

I can not tell everyone how excited I am about the news Cammie is having a boy. Now I will have a granddaughter and a grandson O how life is good. Home from the Lake

So we got home from the Lake yesterday and we had a great time. The water was really cold but we did see people in the water. They must have been crazy. We would put are feet in the water and that is as far as we would go. Just being together and being on the boat and out in the sun was woubderful. Wish we could have stayed longer. I am so excited Grant, Kody, Kayli and me are going to the Lake on Friday and coing back on Sunday. Now I know the water is still to cold to tube, ski ect. but the idea of being on the boat on the lake in the sun makes me more happy than you know. It is suppose to be in the 90's this weekend so I just might get some color on my skin. I will make sure Kody brings the camera and takes pictures so I can share.
Cammie is still doing very well and she does not seem as sick anymore so thanks for all the prays.

Cammie went to her OB appt. today and was able to hear a very strong heat beat of my grand baby. We are all so excited things are going well so far. so I am back from the hospital. so far everything is looking OK. My heart Doc called today and wants me to wear a heart monitor for a couple of days to check my heart rate, so I will go get my heart monitor on Monday. I want to thank Kody and Cammie for taking care of me. I have wonderful kids I love them so very much.

Well we are 4 days since Malone's surgery. He is doing very well. Night times are still kind of rough he wants to go out side 4 to 5 times a night, so I am looking forward to when he is complety well so I can sleep though the night. Malone had to have surgery today to remove a lump he has on his front leg. Malone did really well in surgery and is now home. He is in a lot of pain all he does is cry. It is like having a new born in the house he can not tell us what he needs us to do to help him feel better. So keep Malone in your prays for his safe recovery. Malone can be a pain but he is loved by are family and we are all so very happy he made it though surgery.

A story about $5.00 Sack Lunches

I put my carry-on in the luggage compartment and sat down in my assigned seat. It was going to be a long flight. 'I'm glad I have a good book to read.. Perhaps I will get a short nap,' I thought. Just before take-off, a line of soldiers came down the aisle and filled all the vacant seats, totally surrounding me. I decided to start a conversation. 'Where are you headed?' I asked the soldier seated nearest to me. ' Chicago - to Great Lakes Base. We'll be there for two weeks for special training, and then we're being deployed to Iraq ' After flying for about an hour, an announcement was made that sack lunches were available for five dollars. It would be several hours before we reached Chicago , and I quickly decided a lunch would help pass the time. As I reached for my wallet, I overheard soldier ask his buddy if he planned to buy lunch. 'No, that seems like a lot of money for just a sack lunch. Probably wouldn't be worth five bucks. I'll wait till we get to Chicago ' His friend agreed. I looked around at the other soldiers. None were buying lunch. I walked to the back of the plane and handed the flight attendant a fifty dollar bill. 'Take a lunch to all those soldiers.' She grabbed my arms and squeezed tightly. Her eyes wet with tears, she thanked me. 'My son was a soldier in Iraq ; it's almost like you are doing it for him.' Picking up ten sacks, she headed up the aisle to where the soldiers were seated. She stopped at my seat and asked, 'Which do you like best - beef or chicken?' 'Chicken,' I replied, wondering why she asked. She turned and went to the front of plane, returning a minute later with a dinner plate from first class. 'This is your thanks.' After we finished eating, I went again to the back of the plane, heading for the rest room. A man stopped me. 'I saw what you did. I want to be part of it. Here, take this.' He handed me twenty-five dollars. Soon after I returned to my seat, I saw the Flight Captain coming down the aisle, looking at the aisle numbers as he walked, I hoped he was not looking for me, but noticed he was looking at the numbers only on my side of the plane. When he got to my row he stopped, smiled, held out his hand, an said, 'I want to shake your hand.' Quickly unfastening my seatbelt I stood and took the Captain's hand. With a booming voice he said, 'I was a soldier and I was a military pilot. Once, someone bought me a lunch. It was an act of kindness I never forgot.' I was embarrassed when applause was heard from all of the passengers. Later I walked to the front of the plane so I could stretch my legs. A man who was seated about six rows in front of me reached out his hand, wanting to shake mine. He left another twenty-five dollars in my palm. When we landed in Chicago I gathered my belongings and started to deplane. Waiting just inside the airplane door was a man who stopped me, put something in my shirt pocket, turned, and walked away without saying a word. Another twenty-five dollars! Upon entering the terminal, I saw the soldiers gathering for their trip to the base. I walked over to them and handed them seventy-five dollars. 'It will take you some time to reach the base. It will be about time for a sandwich. God Bless You.' Ten young men left that flight feeling the love and respect of their fellow Americans and travelers. As I walked briskly to my car, I whispered a prayer for their safe return. These soldiers were giving their all for our country. I could only give them a couple of meals. It seemed so little... A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in This country who no longer understand it.'

Well Grant has been out of town since Thursday he was suppose to come home on Sunday night but no such luck. I talked with him this morning and he said he would be home no matter what tonight. But we will see. He said last night he got to his room at 4:30am and back on the job site at 9:00am. I can just tell in his voice he is tired. He has always worked so very hard to provide for are family. I would like to do something special for him I would love so ideas so if you have any please let me know. Kody and Kayli have been hanging out here at are house so I have loved that. So thanks Kody and Kayli for keeping me company. So other news is that Malone has been sick. I feel like I have a new born in the house up all night cleaning up after him, it has not been fun. He seems to be feeling better today. YA. I hope all is well with everyone.

Another bad Ankle

You will not believe what I have done this time. I fell the other dad and hurt my right ankle. I got an x-ray done and they say it is not broke but they believe my tendon and ligaments may be in pretty bad shape. I will go in for an MRI on Tuesday. I will die if I have to have surgery on my other ankle.

I was in a car accident yesterday. Someone rear ended me. My Truck was not hurt but the ladies car was I have a very sore neck. It rally sucked.

I received an e-mail from Trevor today. He is doing very well and had some exciting news. He was made zone leader and got a new companion or should we say an old companion. Elder Cooke and Elder Potter are back together. He is so excited. Man do I love his e-mails and letters.

Bad foot

Okay I finally got in to see a specialist about my foot. Well I broke my ankle about 1 and a half years ago and every since having surgery on the ankle my feet hurts all the time. It feels like pins and needles are in my feet all the time. And my feet do not like the cold. And see what is funny about this is I never had surgery on the right ankle just the left but I am getting the same feeling in the right foot. Well the Doctor said he thinks I have RSD (reflex sympathetic Dystrophy) and also Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. These are two very painful things. The Doctor said they will have to due some test to make sure he is on the right track. He gave my two meds to take but I am going to do some research on the meds and also the diagnosis he gave me. I also got a call from my stomach Doctor. I had a colonoscopy a week ago, he got the results back and wants to meet with Grant and I next Thursday. Well I will stay positive and try not to worry unless they give me something to worry about.

Well Grant was suppose to go out of town again on Friday afternoon but he found out he needs to leave tomorrow morning. He might be back Sunday night but most likely Monday sometime. He has only been home for two days. This is going to be going on for a while All-Star just got a 7 million dollar contact. No I will not move to Calf. Grant is just going to have to travel. I remember years ago when the kids were little he traveled all the time. I hated it so much. But now that I look back at least I have the kids to keep me company now I just have Malone. Kody is always gone. With school, work and of course Kayli. maybe I can get Kody and Kayli to spend more time at are house. Well I will just have to blog more. LOL Hope all is well with everyone.

Well I have been alone for a few days now, Grantly has been traveling for work. He goes to Kingman and San Diago so I am lucky if I see him twice a week. I am not to sure how long this will be going on, but I hope it ends soon. You never know how much you miss someone until they are gone. I am so very grateful to have him as my husband, he works so hard to provide for are family. I wish I knew more about this blogging stuff and I would make it so cute. Cammie's friend Amber's blog is the best. she is pregnant and has been on bed rest for a while now so she loves to blog. She is due in 16 days. I got my resume done now all that needs to be done on it to make it look great is to have Grantly look over it. I really want to work at a hospital or Doctors office. Well that my life BORING.
